Mando's Drumchip

Hello! This is just a test so I can practice coding with silly little projects. It's still a MASSIVE work in progress and everything from sounds to text needs to be improved, but it runs! I'm gonna use this space as internet storage, feel free to download the game below if you want to look at it more carefully, or donate if you feel really generous (REALLY generous, this thing's tiny and scrappy. Just play it, that makes me happy enough).

After a couple rounds of playtesting, it turns out the controls are way too messy to do anything "groovy" with it. Sadly Pico-8 only allows you to use Z/X and arrow keys, and it's nigh impossible to get in the flow with keys grouped so close together — it's too hard to control.

Gonna shelve it indefinitely for now. I did learn Lua with it though! On to the next project
